GOD SIGHTING STORY # 14 (CLASSICS)
AN AMAZING ATM STORY
Posted by itphilip@itphilippines.org on 08/06/2018
Myrna M., our missionary in China found herself in a big predicament. Her failure to pay her rent for over three months incurred the ire of her landlord. She was threatened a couple of times. She was told her things will be removed and that she will be reported to the police. She was even warned that the immigration office will be informed and will be requested to have her deported. She called the office in Manila to check if there is support money coming her way. When told that there were no funds in her account that could be sent to her. She panicked and really cried out to God. She pleaded so hard for God to intervene. Her cries for help reach the heavens. At that point of utter desperation, she heard the voice of the Lord (literally!) telling her that she no longer must cry for money was placed in her ATM account. She went directly to the bank to check her account and was surprised to see that there’s enough money to cover for all her debts. She cried profusely again … but this time, it was not in pain or fear but in joy and utter amazement at the miracle that she just experienced.
Indeed, God is the same God who makes miracles yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes. His faithfulness is never changing and has no boundaries. If you find yourself getting stuck in situations that seem hopeless, know that there is God who’s been with you all these times.
He knows your needs even before you ask from Him, and He promised to supply everything you need according to His riches and glory.
